The photos are of the entire realm of vision when standing at the Confluence, which is where the Arroyo Seco meets the L.A. River, near the 110/5 interchange in downtown L.A.. This is the spot where the first European settlers ventured into modern day Los Angeles, found two beautiful rivers, and declared that it was the ideal location for a future mission/settlement. My 10 different representations of this location symbolize the many past, present, and future ways of seeing and shaping the river.
